When talking about UDL, it sounds great but how does it look in “real life?” This webinar will give an overview of a middle school in Eastern Washington and their year long experience starting the UDL journey. There will be practical resources and concrete ideas shared for other districts interested in starting the process of implementing UDL.

Participants will be able to:

• Describe typical questions, motivations and barriers that teachers in a rural school face when starting UDL.

• Identify ways to encourage and motivate teachers to continue with UDL implementation.

• Identify ways to overcome barriers when implementing UDL.
