Description:

Within the framework of UDL, we will learn how Microsoft Office tools are supporting language comprehension and increased participation through picture support, translation tools and more! See examples of how these tools are providing new levels of access to the curriculum for a variety of students in general education (including ELL and Special Ed) and providing support for them to more fully and independently engage in classroom activities. Discuss strategies to collaborate between your IEP team and general education staff to plan lessons that are inclusive for all students.

Learning Objectives:

1. Participants will learn 2 ways to access translation support through Microsoft Office tools.

2. Participants will explain 2 benefits of using language and translation supports to all students in a classroom.
