This one-hour webinar will share resources and practical strategies to support UDL lesson planning and tips for setting up a UDL classroom. CAST website’s UDL Lesson Builder will be explored as well as concepts and ideas from the book: “Universal Design for Learning in Action: 100 Ways to Teach All Learners”. This session will be interactive and participants are welcome to contribute ideas and resources to add to our UDL toolkit!
Participants will learn about a variety of UDL implementation strategies to use in the classroom.
Participants will learn and share UDL resources, books, websites, lesson planning and professional development ideas.
Rose Racicot, MS, OTR/L is an OT and Assistive Technology Specialist with 31 years of experience, currently working in Bellevue School District and SETC at CWU. She has conducted research and been published on “The Effect of Multimedia Software on Written Productivity”. She presents workshops on literacy support software, UDL, iPad and other AT topics at state and national conferences as well as guest lecturing at local OT and OTA schools. She is passionate about helping educators implement Universal Design for Learning principles to create inclusive classrooms for all students to succeed.
