A good Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC) evaluation comprises several resources. Hump Software’s AAC Eval Genie app is a great tool to include in your AAC evaluation toolbox. During this webinar, we will look at what language/vocabulary features it can assess, how students can access the app, and we will go through the process of setting up a new user and trying out AAC Eval Genie.
Participants will learn about the 13 subtests in AAC Eval Genie.
Participants will learn about direct and indirect access to AAC Eval Genie.
Participants will learn how to set up a new user and explore the subtests.
Sarah Kinsella is a Speech-Language Pathologist with a passion for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and supporting students with complex communication needs. She holds a Master’s degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences and has worked in the public school setting for 11 years. She also served as the district Assistive Technology Specialist for 6 years, working with multidisciplinary teams and families to support students with a variety of Assistive Technology and AAC needs.
