Studies show that children learn through play and exploration, but what about our students who cannot run and jump and throw? There are software programs developed to help those students experience similar activities through alternative access methods. This webinar will demonstrate some of those software programs and present resources for the participants to access and/or create their own activities.

Linda Doehle has recently worked as an Assistive Technology Specialist for the Yakima School District. She graduated from Whitworth College where she majored in computer science and mathematics. She started her career as a software engineer and independent computer consultant. Linda enjoys being able to use her technology skills in helping students optimize their abilities through the use of assistive technology.
