Students who need accessible material in higher level math have several options available.  This webinar will explore some of those tools, both software and web tools.  The webinar will go through a middle school math lesson using the tools.

Learning Objectives:

Participants will receive an overview of math websites that provide support for learning math

Participants will receive an overview of math apps, extensions and software that provide support for writing math digitally

Participants will learn Ideas for using the math websites and apps to support all students in learning and expressing math concepts


Linda Doehle has recently worked as an Assistive Technology Specialist for the Yakima School District. She graduated from Whitworth College where she majored in computer science and mathematics. She started her career as a software engineer and independent computer consultant. Linda enjoys being able to use her technology skills in helping students optimize their abilities through the use of assistive technology.
