There are options for your students to do math digitally.  This webinar will explore the tools available for students to express math in alternative ways from speech to teach to digital handwriting.  This webinar will give a brief overview of the features available in EquatIO, GeoGebra, MathTalk and Snap&Read. 

Learning Objectives

Participants in this webinar will learn:

Two ways that students can express math using speech to text

At least two ways that students can hear math text read to them correctly

At least two ways that students can use computers/tablets to access math digitally


Linda Doehle started her career as a software engineer after completing her degrees in

Computer Science and Mathematics at Whitworth College.  She brought her technical skills to

the field of assistive technology while working as an Assistive Technology Specialist for the

Yakima School District.  Linda holds an AT Specialist Certificate and enjoys being able to use her

technology skills in helping students optimize their abilities through the use of assistive

technology.  Linda has been with the Special Education Technology Center for four years and

has presented webinars and classes at both state and local conferences.
